We use data that you enter into the contact form, such as your name, company, email, and telephone, for the purposes of individually communicating with you. Please note that data are not encrypted when transmitted, and therefore no confidential information should be sent via the contact form.

These service providers have access to personal information necessary to fulfil their duties. However, they may not use this for other purposes. Moreover, they are obligated to handle this information in accordance with this data protection policy and the BDSG.

3. Use of cookies by our websites

A cookie is a piece of text that is stored with your permission on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device. If you agree, then your browser stores the text in a small file. However, we only use so-called “session cookies”, i.e. those which are only cached on your computer whilst you are using our websites. The purpose of these cookies is to identify your computer during a visit to our website if you change from one of our websites to another of our websites, and to be able to detect the end of your visit.

The cookies are deleted once you end your browser session.

You can decide for yourself whether cookies can be stored and retrieved using the settings in your browser. In your browser you can completely disable the saving of cookies, restrict it to particular websites, or configure your browser so that it automatically notifies you when cookies will be stored and asks for your response. However, for technical reasons it is necessary to permit the so-called session cookies for the full range of our website’s functions.

We do not collect or save any personal data in cookies in this context. We also do not use any techniques which combine information collected by cookies with user data.

We pay strict attention to compliance with these rules. We are aware that many people are sceptical of cookies. However, from conversations with many of our customers we could see that there was considerable benefit for both sides in appropriately using cookies. We really value our relationships with our customers and take their concerns seriously.

4. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”; these are small text files, which are stored on your computer and which make it possible to analyse your use of the website. Information about your use of the website generated by cookies is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Where IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address is first shortened by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. This IP anonymisation is active on this website. Only in exceptional cases shall the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website in order to create reports regarding website activities and to provide further services connected to website use and internet usage for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser for Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.

You can prevent cookies being stored via a corresponding adjustment to your browser software; but we would point out that in this case you may not be able to fully utilise all functions of the website.

Furthermore, you can prevent Google collecting data created by cookies and of your use of the website (incl. your IP address) as well as Google processing these data, by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at this link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en to delete your cookies in this browser, you have to click on the link again.

You can prevent Google Analytics collecting data by clicking on the following link; this stores an “opt-out cookie” which prevents the future collection of your data on visiting this website: Deactivate Google Analytics. To delete your cookies in this browser, you have to click on the link again.

We would like to draw your attention again to the fact that, on this website, Google Analytics has been expanded by the code "gat._anonymizep()", in order to ensure that IP addresses are collected anonymously (so-called IP masking).

We also use Google Analytics to analyse data from AdWords and the double-click cookie for statistical purposes. You can deactivate this if you do not want it using the ad preferences manager (https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated?hl=en).
